Many Danish men enrolled in the Australian Imperial Forces (AIF) and fought for Australia during World War 1. Many never made it back to their newly adopted country.

Below are the names and details of some of these Danish-born soldiers. 
Through the National Archives of Australia and their extensive collection of photos, we have also gathered photos of some of these Danish soldiers in full uniform taken before going off to war.
